Harry Potter Book Six and Seven

Speculations

Wow. This site has been neglected for longer than I would have hoped, sorry about that. If you're new to Kongenial Kangaroo, it's an amateur Harry Potter fansite run by two...fans in Montana. We come up with impossible theories, and share them with the world. If you have any ideas about the series you'd like to share, please to don't hesitate to email me by clicking here .

1. The letter in the (fake) horcrux that appears at the end of book six is from Regelus Black, Sirius's brother.

2. Is there any chance Neville has been placed uinder a memory charm? Only because he's forgotten something, and he can't remember what he's forgotten.

3. Another speculation that is PROABABLY not real, but thought quite clever at the time we thought it up, is that Luna's mother was put to death by the veil. We thought of this because she experimented with charms and other magic, and maybe she dabbled into somthing she shouldn't have. ALSO: Luna could be under a mermory charm also, which would explain her spaciness.

4. If you have to become a prefect to be Head Boy, then WHY was James Head Boy (Keeper of the Keys Chapter Four, Book One) when Lupin was the prefect?

5. The letters in "Droobles Best Blowing Gum" rearrange to spell "Gold Bribe under St. Mungo's." Remember, Neville's mother gives him Drooble's wrappers. Is there a chance that Lucius Malfoy is donating all his gold to St. Mungos to make sure that the Longbottoms stay where they are?

6. Peter Pettigrew is bound to Harry because Harry saved his life. In this case, it is pretty much a rewind to book one. Not very nice person hates Harry's guts, Harry (or his father) saves their skins, they owe it all to Harry, and end up saving his life somewhere sometime. Will Peter be good for just one teensy second of his ratty little life?

7. I know this rumor is everywhere, but is there any chance that Severus Snape is a vampire? There's an awful lot of evidence, but it's so late in the series that I think this is sorta idiotic.

8. When Hagrid was in Knockturn Alley (Book 2), he said he was buying Flesh Eating Slug Repellent because they were ruining the school cabbages. Why on earth would flesh eating slugs be ruining cabbages?

9. Ok, I just came up with this on May 10th, 2005. I haven't seen it on any other website, or in any book, (though it probably is mentioned somewhere else in the world. Okay..(drumroll)...KRUM IS SNAPE'S ILLEGITAMTE SON!!! Read this discription of Snape from book one: (Chapter 7, the Sorting Hat) Professor Quirell, in his absurd turban, was talking to a teacher with greasy black hair, a hooked nose, and sallow skin.

Now, read this discription of Krum from Book 4: (Chapter Eight, the Quidditch World Cup) Viktor Krum was thin, dark, and sallow-skinned, with a large curved nose and thick black eyebrows.

10. We think that the veil in the Department of Mysteries is like the death sentence to wizards, except it has been outlawed. EVIDENCE: Why else would it be in the middle of a courtroom? Also, it was tattered and crumbling, meaning it was very old and therefore could have had different uses a really long time ago than it did in book 5.

11. THIS IS THE BEST YET! GIGASMIC SPOILER WARNING ALL YE POTTER FANS!!!

All right. Like everybody else, I'm in mourning for Dumbledore, but unlike everybody else, I think Snape is innocent. JK would have needed another reason for killing Dumbledore besides wanting to just plain old kill him. When Dumbledore is "pleading" with Severus, I think he is making sure that Snape kills him, because Dumbledore thinks there is a chance that Snape will back out. Halfway through the book, Hagrid accidentally mentioned to Harry that Snape was arguing with Dumbledore, saying that he didn't want to "do it anymore." I think he was trying to back out of killing him. That's why Dumbledore trusted Snape so much. Please don't kill me for saying that... Just remember I did when Book 7 comes out, and I'm right...

12. What if either Harry or Dumbledore is a Horcrux? That would explain why Dumbledore died, or why Harry might die. We were thinking maybe when Dumbledore tried to destroy the ring of Slytherin, he accidentally transferred his power unto himself. Oh, I feel so bloody brilliant.

Little Tidbits

We'll add on to this section the more tidbits we get.

1.) Dumbledore's eyes show something like "triumph" when Harry mentions that Voldemort can touch him without dying.

2. )When Dumbledore says he doesn't care what the Ministry does as long as they don't take him off the chocolate frog cards, is he using them to watch Harry?

3.) What about the joke that Dumbledore was going to tell at the beginning of book 4?

4. ) In the prophecy, it says that Harry and Voldemort must die at the hand of the other. Is Harry invincible to everyone but Voldemort?

5.) If you go to JK Rowling's website, notice that when you open the "Rumors " section, the ads at the bottom have changed. Celestina Warbeck is singing at Exmoor. That might play a role in book six?

6.) Dumbledore was in the Hog's Head 16 years ago when he heard Trelawney's prediction. Someone was listening, and was then thrown out. MUNDUNGUS FLETCHER was thrown out of the Hog's Head around 20 years ago!!!! Hmmmmmm.....Hmmmmm......

7.) Why on earth does nobody think Lupin is the HBP? JKR specifically said that he is a half-blood, and he will play a big role. She doesn't say little things like that on purpose.

8.) This was just kind of coincidental, I don't think it's really important or anything. Ok, right before Dudley eats the Ton-Tongue toffee and his tongue turns purple and grows gigantic, Uncle Vernon's face turns purple and Aunt Petunia starts chewing her tongue.

9.) What if someone gave Voldemort Amortentia potion? Hmm. It doesn't cause love though. Just a thought, lovelies.
